Grill over hot coals for 5-8 minutes until charred, basting again as it cooks. Brush sauce generously over both sides of lettuce hearts. This recipe is amazing! So simple, fast and easy. Combine oil, miso paste, honey and garlic. Taste to effort ratio is EXCELLENT! i used the full dressing recipe for two breasts and was glad i did, though cut back the oil to 1/3 cup. Served with Corn and Tomato Scramble for aĭressing was great, but my romaine didn't turn out so good. Skeptical of "grilled lettuce" loved the combination. The Manchego is excellent- might use it instead of Parm from now on! I used two large chicken breasts and one head of Romaine, quartered, and there was barely enough dressing. Grill the romaine until theyre gently cooked and slightly charred. I recently discovered that a wilted leftover Caesar salad is transformed under the broiler, so I was eager to try this. Lightly coat the romaine lettuce heads with oil. 3 romaine hearts or baby romaine heads, cleaned and cut in half lengthwise. Overall a good recipe that could benefit from some tweaks. I also added some cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber and croutons that I had mixed with a little bit of the dressing. I had so much dressing left over and I don't see how you could use it all unless you like your lettuce swimming in dressing. I doubled the dressing, but there was really no need to.
